SHINER GROUP ACQUIRES CARTER’S LANDING (FORMERLY GOLF MILWAUKEE PLAZA)

Niles, IL - Shiner Group is excited to announce the acquisition of Carter’s Landing in April of 2025, a 250,000 square foot Walmart anchored shopping center in one of the great historic retail corridors in the Chicago suburbs. The center sits in Niles, IL at the extremely busy intersection of Golf Road and Milwaukee Avenue. Across from the shopping center is Golf Mill Mall, a site that was once a thriving mall and was recently entitled for a $440m redevelopment over the next few years. The Shiner Group is thrilled to be a small part in the effort to revitalize the Golf-Milwaukee intersection with a 5 year rehabilitation plan of its own—including investing in long needed structural improvements and a full facade upgrade.
